Let me rephrase. I started blogging because I like to think that we’re all the same. We all face the same problems, at some point in life. The universe is one giant energy bank. Negative and positive is allll there, shifting balance, that’s all.
All I want is to reach out and help people who might need it.
With that being said, I would like to reflect on some things I’ve learned along the way. I’m going through a troublesome time lately, lot of reasons.
Walking back home from college today, I had this sudden realisation: If only people just said what was on their mind, the world would be so much better!
Honestly! What’s stopping you from being the truest you?
You don’t want to be judged, you might say. Well, who cares? Everyone’s just as self-obsessed as you are. People will look at you the way you look at yourself. Why not start loving the person you are, and then put a ring on it?
Once you start being the real you, and starting to love the real you, you’ll find peace within. Peace is what lets you sleep at night.
As long as you decide to be yourself, why not decide to be nice? Being nice is nice! Being nice frees you from all the unnecessary drama you face every day. People don’t… get… things. Nobody will understand what you’re going through, just as you don’t understand them as much. So just be nice! Everybody’s fighting battles, and it doesn’t hurt to be kind. Karma is real: what goes around, comes around.
Also, take good care of yourself. Taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can ever do. How will you send out love when there’s no love within?
These are so simple. I mean, seriously, who can you be if you’re not yourself? Being yourself is the easiest thing to do; it’s refreshing! People lie left and right, they are pretentious, they are full of standards; standard for beauty, for intelligence, for position. You should know where you are, and stand your ground. Because you are what you are for every little war you fought, for every disappointment you conquered, for every time you said no to the wrong things, for every time you stood up for yourself. Be proud of that. Be unabashedly yourself.
There’s so much power in fearlessness.
Much love 🙂
